There are many types of “being in love”. I’ve seen people holding hands, hugging every now and there, but the one thing that is constant, those in love, have some kind of need to always be touching the other. Is it the need to show your love, the need for assurance that the other person will always be there? I guess for me, the constant touch gave me this warm feeling inside, makes me feel loved. Trust me when I say I’m never a very touchy kinda person. But I guess, when you’re in love, you will always end up doing things you would never do when you’re single.
There has always been this concept/idea that people in love always performs better. Be it at work, at play or anything at all. They always seem to have this good mood and vibes when you’re around them. They are even more pleasant to be around with. So, it it really true?
I’ve been told, when people are in love, no matter how bad the day had been, just the sight of their loved ones would immediately bring a smile to their face. How did I know? My partner once told me… It was at a time when we’re going through a rough patch – between breaking up or continuing. I made an unexpected stop at her place with ice-cream, not know if she would see/talk to me, I left the ice cream at her door, press the doorbell and left. By the time I get to the ground floor, she called and ask me to wait for her to come down. As I sat there on the bench, just looking out and recalling happier memories, she walked from far and the moment she saw me, she smiled… No matter how upset she was, just seeing me there sitting at the bench, has made her smile… I guess that’s what it means – being truly in love..
